My little gliders

It's team A's turn at Child's Play Challenges.  And our challenge is My Little Pony.  For some strange reason my 11 yr old daughter is totally in those toys again.  Thanks Hot Topics for the shirts.

 My Little Pony Jewelled Ponies

I thought it would be funny to do a My little gliders page since they are one of the littlest animals in this house.  It has also be a while since I did a page with Edgar and Penelope.  I've been doing alot of cats layouts.

Shelling out

If you are here for the ABC Ransom Blog Hop click here.

It's my last week at the guest design team member at Lasting Memories.  I really enjoyed myself this past month and I hope the other girls loved having me. :)  This week's challenge is Shelling Out, either a beach theme or a Halloween theme(shelling out candy).  I choose the Halloween theme because it is my favorite holiday and I love all the cool scrapbooking paper out there.

Our not so little Sebastian has been with us for two months now.  We adopted him from the rescue shelter that my daughter and I volunteer at.  I feel sorry for Sebastian because we bought three different superhero costumes, fairy wings and a princess hat.  But he really likes wearing these costumes.  Here he is being the Hulk.  Sebastian looks like he is ready for some action.

Red Carpet Studio's ABC Ransom Blog Hop

Welcome to the ABC Ransom Blog Hop,
hosted by Red Carpet Studio!

If you've come from Tonya 's blog, you're in the right place.
The Red Carpet Studio designers thought it would be fun to host a mystery blog hop while showcasing projects that can be made using all those leftover letters in your stash - hence where the "ransom" comes in. Ransom notes play a huge role in mystery/suspense films, and are often created out of random letters cut from magazines, newspapers, etc. in order to disguise handwriting.

While we won't be doing any kidnapping or holding anybody ransom today - we do have some creative projects to share with you!

For my project using leftover letters in my stash, I created...

BATKITTY

I actually used four different kinds of letters on this layout.  The word "batkitty" is a combo of two different packs of wooden letters from Pink Paislee that I painted with Luminarte Twinklings H20.

We're also holding some blog candy ransom! However, the blog candy is hidden, and only certain stops of the hop are hiding it. The only way you can win is if you comment on those blogs! Now, we're not going to tell you whose blogs those are (that would be too easy) but we will tell you what the prizes are!

There will be three winners. Please make sure to leave your contact information when commenting so we can contact you if you win. You have until next Saturday, November 3rd, to hop and comment. Winners will be announced with the start of our next layout challenge on Sunday November 4th at Red Carpet Studio.

And don't forget to check out this week's challenge at Red Carpet Studio! Our challenge this week is inspired by "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" and the challenge is to create any fall or Halloween card.

Your next stop is Stacey's blog.

P.S. My letters are...N
If you can put all the letters together from each stop of the hop (they're in order), you have a chance to win a mystery prize! Once you've figured out our hidden message, email it to redcarpetstudiochallenge@gmail.com. The mystery prize winner will be announced with the other winners on Sunday November 4th. HINT: The message is a clue as to what our next layout challenge will be. :)

Double Take

Here is my third week of being the guest dt at Lasting Memories.  This weeks challenge is the "double take".  Just have to have two of something in your layout.

Well, I have two of something, two fat ass animals.  LOL!!!  Edgar the sugar glider and Chubby the hamster.  Yes, I had to do this because it is just too funny to pass up these pictures.  Since I've taken these pictures, Edgar's ass has gotten bigger and Chubby has stayed the same.  Too much coconut treats for Edgar.

RCS # 8 - The Ring

The scary movies continue at Red Carpet Studio, the layout team theme this week is "The Ring".  We want to see those polka dots and circles.  Any size, any color.

I decided to use two title circles in my layout and lots of bling and brads.

This week's random winner will receive 5 digis of your choice from QKR Stampede.

Out of the Hat

Look at the picture below,  I had to use four of the items in this weeks Guest Design Team challenge at Lasting Memories.

For this crazy layout I did, I used Brads, Ribbon, Colors(orange), and Words/Phrases.  What are you going to pull out of the hat????

Eat your veggies!!

On our summer vacation, my family went to the Maryland Science Center.  In the "How the body works" room, there was a veggie statue.  Yes, my daughter and husband had to take crazy pictures with it.  I would of too but then they don't take any pictures of me.

I used the sketch from Let's Get Sketchy for this layout.

It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

It's Team A's turn over Child's Play Challenges.  We have the classic movie "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown".  I really never was much of a Chuck Brown fan but I did like Snoopy because he was a beagle.

Quincie and her friends wanted to t.p. a house one Halloween. The neighbor said it was ok as long as they cleaned up the mess.  Her, her two girlfriends and his son had so much fun with the four rolls of toilet paper I gave them.  It sure was a night to remember.

My Hometown

This month I am the Guest Design Team member of Lasting Memories Scrapbook Layout Challenges.  So for the next four weeks, I am going to bringing you a new layout so look out every Sunday.

This week's challenge is "My Hometown".  I'm was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland.  I still live in Maryland just 10 miles up the road now.  Over the summer we went to the Inner Harbor to the Maryland Science Center.  It has been years and years since I've been there and Quincie's first time.  We had a ball down there.  But be careful of the water, you never know what you may find in there.

RCS #6 - Child's Play

We all know that murderous doll Chucky from the movie Child's Play.  I probably would of liked him if he was not so funny looking.  This weeks layout challenge at Red Carpet Studios is about children.  You don't have to have a murderous child but some cute ones.

Here is my Quinice when she got one of her million Build a Bears.

You have until Saturday night to complete the challenge. A random winner will receive a $15 gift certificate from KaDoodleBug Design
