RED CARPET STUDIO BLOG HOP ~ LOVE IS IN THE AIR

Welcome to Day 2 of the Love is in the Air Blog Hop, brought to you by the layout design team from Red Carpet Studio!

If you haven't hopped through Day 1 yet, make sure to do so!

This weekend the Red Carpet Studio design team would like to share with you love-themed projects to inspire you during this Valentine's Day season. Throughout the hop you'll see a variety of projects and we hope one or more of these wonderful creations inspire you to create. :)

If you've come from Red Carpet Studio's blog,  you're in the right place. If you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop, please visit Red Carpet Studio.

For today's hop I made... Kitty Love.

This is my daughter with her very favorite cat in the whole world, Sebastian.  We adopted Sebastian from an animal shelter 5 months ago, we volunteer at the shelter every week with the cats.

I used my dylusion ink spray to do my background paper along with flowers and other fun things from my stash.

We also have some fabulous sponsors giving away prizes to those who comment on every stop of both days the hop!
3 digital stamp sets of the winner's choice

$6 gift certificate

"Whooo's Your Valentine?" Kit from Close to My Heart

12 yard ribbon set - Winner's choice of Red Hot Lover or The Yummy Collection

Please make sure to comment both days on every stop of the hop AND leave your contact information to be eligible to win. Winners will be announced on Tuesday January 29th at Red Carpet Studio along with the winners of our "Sparkle" layout challenge.

Your next stop is Stephanie J's blog.
And here's the entire lineup:

Happy Hopping!

Raven Nation

It's been a while since I did a challenge at Let's Get Sketchy.  I just had to print up some of the pictures from Sunday's night game when the Ravens won the AFC Championship.  It's been 12 years since they went to the Superbowl and won.  Hope they do it again this year since it's Ray Lewis's last year of football.

RCS #20 - "Sparkle" Layout Challenge

This weeks challenge at Red Carpet Studio is our "Sparkle" challenge.  Very easy this week, right?  We all love to use our bling and glitter on our layouts.  I know I sure love to.
The winner will win a $20 g.c to Little Scraps of Heaven.  The contest will end at Saturday night.

Here is my bling layout.

The Snowy Day

It's team A's turn at Child's Play Challenges.  Our inspiration is the book, The Snowy Day.  At first I had a really hard time trying to come up with a layout, we had not had any snow for the last couple of years and I really don't like the color red.

I decided to really use the title to come up with my layout's title of The Lazy Cat.  After I did the layout I realized the colors did go some what. That worked out perfect.

RCS #18 - Anything Goes Layout Challenge

This week's challenge at Red Carpet Studio is anything goes.  That's right, it's an easy one this week.  Anything your little heart can create, as long as it is an layout.

Our sponsor this week is Miriam's Crafting Supplies! One lucky, randomly chosen winner will receive their choice of 10 sets of pearls from her shop. Don't forget the design team will also choose their three favorite submissions to be in our spotlight!

Here is my layout!!

Two of  my daughters favorite things, mustaches and the words cray cray.  In cause you don't know what cray means (like I did not at first) it's crazy.  And that is what she is.  :)

Demon Kitty

This is for this week's challenge at Let's Get Sketchy.  The challenge is to use a not so perfect picture.  I think I nailed it with the kitty's green evil eyes.
